I am a huge fan of minky and some good designer fabrics, which is why I love this sweet Etsy shop, Dandelion Baby. Nicole designs these fun, funky and fresh baby/toddler blankets made of gorgeous, bright and whimsical cotton fabrics with the softness of the minky dot fabric on the other side. Nicole is a Mom of 3 little darlings and gets her inspiration from them and all children around her. She has always loved sewing and being creative. After her last daughter was born she started making her baby blankets, which grew into making them for friends' babies and then into her own business. You will just love the bright, modern, fabulous prints in Nicole's shop and your little ones will love nothing more than to snuggle up to the soft minky lovies.Here are a few of my favorites from Dandelion Baby.
Giraffe Garden Patchwork
I love patchwork!! It reminds me of my grandma's quilts! :) This particular patchwork blanket measures about 28" x 34". It's made with a combination of beautiful Giraffe Garden in Cintron with coordinating cotton and minky dot in dark brown. I love it. It looks so snuggly warm.

This blanket is perfect for the chilly winter months to provide that extra warmth for your little one. It's a heavy weight cotton fabric made with extra thick 7 oz. cotton fabric. It's backed with white minky dot fabric and is edged with coordinating green piping. Measures approx. 34". It has an extra layer of batting between the cotton fabric and the minky for that extra warmth.

There are just so many cute ones, I had a hard time choosing which ones to feature in this post. I'm in love with all the fabrics, especially the Paris ones and Owls.
Dandelion Baby blankets would make any new Mom happy to bring her new baby home from the hospital in. They are also great for stroller and carseat covers and tummy time on the floor. You will be happy with the boutique style, fabulous designer fabrics and professional quality.

Nicole so kindly sent my little Lilli-Cruz this bright pink and orange polka dot blankie with bright pink minky dot fabric. It's the best blanket in every way. It's so professionally made, it's like it's straight out of a high end boutique. The minky is so soft. Lillian loves snuggling with it up to her face. She has never been one to like to cover up with a blanket at night, but always likes to have one cuddled in her arms. This one has definitley been a favorite, in fact her sister is a little jealous. Luckily, Lillian is a good little sharer..they both snuggle together with it.
