LOTD: Trying to keep myself from falling asleep

 

Yesterday was such a stressful day for me: I had three major assignments due! Eurk, and I did an all-nighter to finish a 50% essay (yes, I know, I will probably get a dreadful grade) so in attempt to look more alive I thought I'd do a bit of a fun neutral look in order to look a little more awake. I love Psyche Minerals' Durran, such a pretty purple!

Today, a little more awake (and yes, still in the same top but I actually changed mid-way yesterday seeing as it was so hot and my college top is hardly bearable when it comes to hot weather) and while going through my bookmarks I realized I meant to try doing this amazing look by Blix and so I did! This is no where near as beautiful as her look but I like the combination and holy moly Darling Girl does some amazing glitter liners!

This is the first time I have used it admittedly since my tiff with it so I am so pleased it has made up for its bad behavior!

 

Seriously in love with that glitter liner (which is called Little Twin Stars).

LOTD: Been ages since I have donned make up

It truly has been ages since I have ventured near my make up and hence why I have not been blogging as well but that is another story for another day. Here is my look for today, I got out my Psyche Minerals samples more willing to use them seeing as I am getting some full sizes soon - especially of my most loved shade Molly makes, Orion Slave which is on the outer corner of this look.

 

I used Babble all over my lid hence why Orion Slave has more of its greener side showing through. I love how much it morphs! Definitely the best shade to get and currently it is Psyche Minerals' Color of the Week so instead of its usual price of $3 you can get it for $1.75! Hurry and get it before the COTW changes!

LOTD: Psyche Minerals - Finally!

I finally got around to cleaning up my Psyche Minerals samples and did a look! This is a quickie but I used Durran and Orion Slave - the latter is such a beautiful color, gah! I love it! And of course Durran is a beautiful purple I can see myself using daily.

Psyche Minerals: Just To Squeal

I have been trying to be really good with money in my first month back in Adelaide but when I saw what Psyche Minerals had to offer...well, she won me over with all the amazing, inspiring dragon-like colors! I am SO in love and I swear I need full-sizes of A LOT of PM products!

 

The owner of Psyche Minerals, Molly, is so very sweet and created a listing for me as if you try ordering from her etsy store it sort of does not work if you are anywhere but the U.S. So just a note to all of you international makeup fiends: Molly does ship internationally, drop her a line and let her know what you want to order and she will make a custom listing for you because she is spectacular like that (and very prompt too).

 

I received my package today but unfortunately it looks like two of my colors have leaked majorly! I am devastated as handling everything is a bit of a pain and although shimmer is gorgeous it can be a bit tedious when it gets everywhere.

For now I have no swatches because I want to clean up everything and possibly put my samples in a different container (and try out the whole putting samples from baggies into a container/jar trick!) so I can use them more efficiently.

What I love so far though? How prompt Molly was in getting my order listed and shipped out (even apologizing for a slight delay in getting my package out which was so sweet of her!), how beautiful the colors all look and the shimmer! I feel like the leaked shimmer is a waste and may just use it as a body shimmer or something...even though might involve me rubbing the envelope all over myself. Hmmm, maybe not...
