Book Blog Tour Stop - The Third by Abel Keogh

In the future, families will be told how many children they can have. Sound far fetched?  In 2065, that is the situation, and one family is faced with unimaginable decisions - save their family or become criminals.

Author Abel Keogh addresses this in his new book, "The Third," and I'm pleased to be hosting a stop on his book blog tour today.

About The Book:

When Ransom Lawe, a recycler in the Pacific Northwest, finds out his wife is pregnant with their third—and therefore illegal—child, he’s forced to choose between the government who proclaims a desire to save the planet and his hope for a place where his family can live in freedom. But with the Census Bureau Sentinels closing in on his wife and unborn child, Ransom’s choice will either save his family or tear them apart forever.

Abel Keogh offers a stark and haunting look at a not-so-distant future in this chilling new novel. Crossing lines between good and evil, freedom and oppression, and political and environmental responsibility, The Third is a gut-wrenching tale of intense loyalty and unconditional love.

As the mother of four, I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for someone to tell me I couldn't have more than two kids. Luckily, in our world today, we have a choice on how small or large our families will be.

Author Abel Keogh creates a fascianting look at a dystopian society gone made in his novel, and it is both chilling and thrilling. I found the book to be an on-the-edge-of-your-seat read that was absolutely captivating to very last sentence.

I highly recommend this book if you enjoy dystopian fiction.

My thanks to Tristi Pinkston Book Tours for including me on this tour and to Abel Keogh for the review copy. I was not compensated for my opinion.
