Happy New Year!!

I was out on 12/21/10 having some fun trying to photograph the moon. What a magical night... the clouds kept a playful vigil... I am posting these for New Year's.  A time of reflection and a time of awakening possibilities... a mystical time to live, be, grow...  When you look up, you have no choice but to feel part of something much greater than ourselves..... The first photo of the moon peeking through the clouds at about 11:00pm didn't look extra special until I downloaded it... Then... it had its own message to tell.... it tells of the greatness of all that is, all that was, and all that is yet to be. We are part of  something grand.... In, with and through us... there is something so magnificent.... we are part of a whole that is simply amazing... Hence my title of the first photo.. "God is watching us"   or maybe I should revise it and say "God is watching over us"...

 The eye of God

The moon can change the tides....

 Stay focused above...

 The mystery of life....

As above so below... a reflection of the Light...

Moon shadows, moon shadows....

Remember that every breath you take is a new beginning filled with possibilities and opportunities....

May your New Year be filled with the wonderful magic of Life, Possibilities, Hope, Love, Peace and Joy. May you and yours be Blessed and my you find Peace and Understanding as to tap into the wisdom of Eternity.   Blessings to you and yours.Love and Light, Nina P

Moon Light

(Photo's taken last night with my  Cannon Power Shot SX10IS. No tripod. This isn't  an add, I'm just shocked at the moon!! I've used this camera before and this is the first time I've gotten so much detail!)

Moon Light

Full Moon

Hearts swoon

Night begins to croon

Night's nigh

Clouds fly

Moon controls the sky

Stars glow

Beams flow

Magic starts to grow

Just be

You and me

Let's go out and see

Moon Light

So Bright

Dance with me tonight

Moonlight Glow

The Moon is high
Lighting the sky
With mystical mist surround

Full moon’s bright
And gives off light
Illuminating all around

Moonlight glow
Falling snow
A nighttime wonderland

Rabbits play
Tree branches sway
A deer stands oh so grand

Snow, it glistens
Animals listen
A fairyland of play

Owls hoot
As chipmunks scoot
Without the light of day

Another world
Is unfurled
In this nighttime splendor

Passing time
Life’s sublime
As daylight starts to render

Peaceful night
Turns to light
While moonbeams meet the sun

Moonlight snow
Starts to glow
Good day to nighttime fun

Bye moonbeams
To owl dreams
The birds begin their song

We’ll meet again
At daylights end
‘Til then…it won’t be long

Happy Haunting!

It's a gorgeous Halloween day. It hasn't been this nice on Oct 31st since we moved from Colorado 5 years ago. Here's me in my costume...well part of it. I'll put my short green wig on a little later. After I go to the acupuncturist. I'll change my make-up then too. That way it stays on my face and doesn't get smeared all over when I'm face down on the table. I think getting needled is very fitting for All Hallows Eve. ;)
I'm here in my favorite Madison haunt. It's called a wine cave and it's great place to hang. lol!

Started on my Etsy store branding. Check out my new banner. You can get there from the Etsy link in my side bar....and let me know what you think. Thanks peeps!

I'll leave you with this awesome sky. Happy Haunting!

Powerful Women

To the powerful women – keep the faith!

Live your life in such a way that when your
feet hit the floor in the morning,
Satan shudders and says:
“Oh shit, she’s awake.”

Image of the day...

...it's a Datura or Moonflower.
I highly recommend them. They bloom at night and smell heavenly!
