Nancy August Review & Giveaway

It's that time of year where we need to start thinking about Spring, Easter...Wedding Season..ect. With all these special events coming up, some families may be caught needing to buy several different sets of formal wear.
Nancy August is your place to shop for quality, affordable formal wear for your little girls and boys.

Lillian was able to test out this adorable new Easter dress from Nancy August.

Not only is it as precious as can be it could not be a more perfect fit for Lillian. It was like it was made just for her. The dress actually comes with a pink flower that pins to the center of the sash across her chest. The flower came unglued from the pin within 5 minutes of Lillian wearing it and dancing around. So, I just removed the pin and I think the dress is still as gorgeous as can be. I have not gotten around to gluing the flower back to the pin, but it's really a simple, quick fix and I can pin it back on.

I've said this many times - I have girly girls but they are rough and tough when it comes to playing and dancing. They are hard on their clothes and I'm so impressed with how well intact this dress has remained through Lillian dancing in it, rolling around with the dog on the floor, jumping around and tackling her sister. Besides the little flower coming unglued, the ruffled design on the bottom of the dress has all stayed perfectly intact. She will get lots of use from this dress for Easter and maybe a wedding or 2 this summer.

When I look for clothing for my kids - I expect quality!! I need it to be something that will last through more than one wear and wash and this is what Nancy August provides.
Looking ahead a few months I already know that my girls need formal dresses for a graduation, Easter and a couple weddings. Nancy August has such a wide selection of formal wear to choose from. However, even though we have multiple events to plan for, it's hard to pick favorites. Nancy August offers Easter attire for both girls and boys, Flower Girl dresses, First Communion, Christening, Holiday, Pageant and Princess. If I were planning a wedding right now, this is the place I'd go for my flower girls and ring bearers. The little tuxedo's are so darn cute and with the selection of dresses to choose from, it's a gaurentee you will find something that goes with your wedding. The best part is that they are SO MUCH more affordable than your typical bridal boutique. Nancy August even provides all the accessories needed to go along with your formal wear - shoes, socks, gloves, tiaras, purses, organza sashes and the list goes on. Pink Princess Review & Giveaway

Pink Princess is an incredible shop for all things "pretty princess".
I sure wish that I would have known about this lovely shop a few months ago, as my husbands brother is getting married this June. I would have loved to pass along the amazing selection of flower girl dresses to the bride-to-be. Unfortunately, all her dresses have been picked out and ordered, but I am anxious to share Pink Princess with all my friends and family that are getting married in the near future.
Since Alexa's flower girl dress has already been picked out, I let her choose another fancy dress for the other weddings we're attending this summer. She chose the Purple Double Ruffle Georgette Dress with Sequin Trim and Flower.

I have to be honest and say that looking through the pages of dresses on the website (there are TONS to choose from), this dress would not have been my first choice. However, I knew Alexa liked it and I was happy to get it for her knowing she would feel gorgeous wearing it. I'll admit, it looks even more stunning in person. I ordered her a size 6, thinking it would be a little big on her because she is pretty petite, but it fit her perfectly. It's tea length with double ruffle detail, sleeveless bodice with sequin trim and a removable flower, which I especially like. I think the dress lookes beautiful with and without the flower.

Alexa is going to look stunning at the events she wears this dress to. I cannot wait for her to hit the dance floor and show off the 'twirl' of her Pink Princess dress. She loves dressing up and dancing around the house every day after school and I'm sure you can imagine this is the first dress she puts on. It's so durable and well made that I am confident that it will last all her play time and still be in perfect condition for the upcoming summer weddings.

My favorite thing about Pink Princess is the affordabilty and huge selection of their dresses.
I would recommend them for any occasion, baptism, holidays, flower girl, first communion.
They even offer tutus, pettiskirts and even costumes. They also carry accessories, too - socks, shoes, dress coats, gloves, purses and more.

Pink Princess isn't just for your little Princesses, they also carry boys formal wear, as well.
It literally is your one stop shop for every single occasion.

I am so happy with the dress Alexa received from Pink Princess for this review that I cannot wait to order one for Lillian, too.
