Short Stories by D.L. Chance

I'm so proud to introduce you to two well-written short stories by one of the best writers I know - my husband Don.

These two short stories are available from a new e-reader publisher, Books To Go Now (http://www.bookstogonow.com/), who are specializing in great reading for people with just a little time to read!

The first two of Don's projected seven stories have been released and are available to be purchased and downloaded from the Books To Go Now site.

I think you will enjoy them!

In the final weeks of the 20th Century, Henry "Hoke" Chase is aging, bored and restless, and yearning for experiences outside the small Colorado mountain town where, like his parents before him, he has lived his entire life. Alone in the large log house his father built near the end of the previous century, surrounded by fading memories and two generations of silent clutter, Hoke begins to spend endless days watching the world pass him by on cable television. At least, he does until one day when a live news report on TV changes his life forever.
