Fever Free..James is home..Football

Alexa has been fever free fo close to 48 hours now. WHoo Hoo!! She is feeling better and is full of energy. She still has a cough and somewhat of a runny nose, but we're still keeping an eye on that.

FINALLY, a nice weekend. We had a Halloween party at the neighbors yesterday afternoon. Alexa dressed up as a cheerleader and Lillian was the cutest little bumble bee ever. The girls played games such as bowling, pin the eye on the pumkin, bean bag toss, colored pictures, played bingo and broke open a pinata. And wouldn't you know little Alexa Lynn was the toughest one who broke it open. She was pretty proud of herself. She was even given the top part of the pinata for being the winner of breaking it. She hung on to it and showed it off with pride.
The girls got lots of candy and treat bags. We had a great time and met some more of our surrounding neighbors.

After the party we played outside some more, taking advantage of the nice weather. Then, all of a sudden we saw Inna, Mike and James pull drive up the road and into their driveway. We waved at James and welcomed them home from across the street. We didn't want to pass any of our germs so we kept our distance. We later spoke with Mike and James is doing fantastic. The doctors and nurses had never seen a kid pull out of dialysis as quickly as James did. What a tough little guy. He is a bit sore and weak from laying in bed for 2 weeks, but he will be up and back to normal within the next day or so. They are just happy to finally be home and we were so happy to see them back.

Adam and I watched a movie when the girls went to bed. It was kind of lame, so of course, I fell asleep. Adam said I didn't miss much, so I didn't bother finishing it this morning.

Alexa and Adam are on their way to pick up doughnuts for breakfast, a tradition during football season. They wear their jerseys and get us all our favorite doughnuts at the grocery store or gas station. It's going to be another gorgeous day, near 60. SO, I'm sure we'll be watching the Vikings game in the garage while we grill some delicious food. Uncle Benski is coming over after work, we're all looking forward to seeing him.

Lilli and I are reading books to Chip while we wait for our doughnuts...tootles!
