On September, 21st 2011, my dad's cousin Nancy will begin her final leg of her Ripples of Wisdom Kayak Journey down the Mississippi River. Her journey's began back in 2004, stopping at river communities along the way. With each stop, she brought together as many woman possible together to share stories and gather wisdom. These stories have been published in books, written by Nancy called, Ripples of Wisdom, Voices from the Upper Mississippi.
