I started out collecting and selling vintage because I was into the clothing and the shoes. Along the way I started to realized there was a LOT more out there in the vintage collecting world that interested me! I got into costume jewelry, toys and dolls, purses, kitchen items, and my current passion - Vintage Cameras!
I absolutely love thrifting and antiquing for Vintage Cameras. It's the best thrill to find a gem like that, for me. I love checking them out, seeing how they work and learning about the progression of photography. It's fun to research them, and there are many sources out there, and on the internet, to read about vintage cameras. I even have a fun time photographing them!
I was working on a pretty awesome stock of these vintage gadgets for the shop, and loving how they looked displayed in the house. Then I had a fantastic holiday season in the shop (yay!), and sold the majority of the collection! This just means I have been on the hunt for more cameras! I have also been building up quite a new stash. Above, and the follow photos are the newest six vintage cameras in the shop -
This is only the start. I have many more coming in the days and weeks to come! (Including a couple Brownies and a few older Polaroid Land Cameras) I really want to fill up this section of The S.S. Vintage!
