My "Doty" piece was juried into the 22nd Annual Artful Women group art show and sale. When I delivered it, the coordinator said to me, "We argued about that one."I thought that was kind of an odd thing to say. But it is the only architectural piece in the show...and it's a brew pub. Maybe she didn't like the subject matter. ;)
The show runs from Nov 1 to Dec 5, at the UW hospital here in Madison, WI. They hosted a "Meet the Artists" reception yesterday and I only ate one brownie!
They take a 25% commission with 10% of it going to University of Wisconsin Hospitals Art Fund and 15% to the Wisconsin Women’s Network, sponsors of Artful Women 2008.
