How many times during Christmas or a Birthday party have you said, "I should have just given them a box"? Every child at some point has taken a plain old ordinary box and turned it into something amazing with their creative little imaginations. Rocket ships, submarines, a princess castle - you name it!! Heck, I've done it myself! ;) Recently my family had the opportunity to receive and review a Snack Shack from Build A Dream Playhouses. The Build A Dream Playhouse creations were made with the concept in mind that the cardboard box has been a creative outlet for children for years.
Imagination and creativity is essential in your child's development. Build A Dream Playhouses are blank canvases to ensure just that - to imagine and create something from scratch. They have the opportunity to color or paint their playhouse and make it into their own fun, unique subject of play. My girls chose to paint their Snack Shack and spent days working on making it "just the way they want". They took a special pride in doing a great job, as they know that this will be something that they are going to play with and enjoy for a very long time. My husband and our 2 daughters constructed their Snack Shack with the easy step by step instructions. The hubs said it was pretty easy to put together, but did need help of the girls hold some of the pieces in place for him. I'm sure that it's possible for 1 person to put it together, but having a helping hand makes it go a little fast and smoother.

We were impressed with how well it holds together and how sturdy it is. The Snack Shack has a 2 sided serving counter and my daughters lean their arms and upper body weight on it and it holds just fine. I am a huge fan of products that can withstand the rough and toughness of children and the Snack Shack has definitley proved itself.

Build A Dream Playhouses has also gone the extra mile to do testing not mandated by law to futher ensure the safety of their products.
*And my personal favorite is that Build A Dream Playhouses has developed a strategy to donate many of their products to children's hospitals, various charities and schools in much need of products that stimulate creativity and imagination.
