I was competely enchanted from the first page with the story of Milly and Twiss, the two eccentric, but lively elderly sisters who have lived their lives in each other's pockets. Coming to the end of their lives, both Milly and Twiss find themselves reflecting back on their pasts, and wondering if their lives would have been different if decisions had been made differently.
Debut author Rebecca Rasmussen takes her readers on a journey that will include happiness, tragedy, great love and great loss. There is a little something for every reader in this fascinating story - a little mystery, a little romance, and a whole lot of heart.

REBECCA RASMUSSEN teaches creative writing and literature at Fontbonne University. Her stories have appeared in Triquarterly magazine and the Mid-American Review. She was a finalist in both Narrative magazine’s 30 Below Contest for writers under the age of thirty and in Glimmer Train’s Family Matters Contest. She lives with her husband and daughter in St. Louis. This is her first novel.
