Evil Shades: Order #1 and #2

Looking to color my life through my eyes

I first ordered from Evil Shades quite a few months ago and never got around to swatching or doing a review on my first order which is remarkably strange seeing as out of all the Indie companies I have ordered from, Evil Shades has to be my favorite of them all.

The colors are more to my liking, the texture and the way the shadows "sit" on your eye is soft and yet still manages to give a powerful pop of color. Andrea, the creator of Evil Shades, definitely knows how to cater to us women who want colorful eyes that are wearable for work or play.

Speaking of Andrea, follow her on twitter here and/or read her nail blog here. She is so very nice and quick to address any concerns, problems or queries you may have with your orders.

On Monday, I got my second order from Evil Shades and this was one I had been waiting for eagerly for about a month as it had Andrea's newest creation: Evil Shades Evileyes Primer.

And because Andrea is awesome, she included Halloween treats in our October orders! I'm especially loving the packaging of my second order, definitely keeping in theme with Halloween.

Unfortunately there seemed to have been a slight casualty when I got everything out of the packaging and it was the eyeshadow I've been lusting after for ages, Moirae...

...not to worry though, after cleaning everyone up it seemed as though it was merely a small leak and nothing too serious (like spilled Moirae, then I would've been crying my heart out!).

Seeing as I'm in exam mode at the moment, swatches of my two orders and a more in depth ramble of how I love Evil Shades (er, I mean a review...) will have to wait. For now, go order from Evil Shades if you're still Evil Shade-less (haha...no pun intended...) because it is definitely worth getting your paws on some of these colors - specifically Cerberus! I actually got a full version of Cerberus only to find Andrea had (accidentally?) put in a free sample of Cerberus too! I might just tip the sample into the jar or give it to someone or keep it for nail polish or...or...sleep with it under my pillow!
