I love these colors together, especially this time of year when we are in Christmas card mode.
I knew I wanted to use these fun snowflakes from the lastest StampTV Kit called Winter Wonderland so I decided I would create my own background paper by embossing them with some White Diamonds embossing powder. If you have never seen White Diamonds EP, it is the prettiest silvery glitter nestled in white powder. The adorable little ice skates are also from the Winter Wonderland kit and I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and filled the boot part in with my Quickie Glue pen and dunked those puppies in the prettiest Glitter Ritz microfine glitter. I used the color called Warm Highlights and I get it here. I think these ice skates must belong to a Princess, they are so sparkly! I colored the laces with the Sakura White Glaze pen and the blades with the Sakura Stardust pen. This card is 4 1/4" square and one of the things that I like to do is bring the ribbon to the edge and tie it off with a little bit of twine and a button. It will still fit nicely into a standard A2 envelope. I saw Anna Wight do this along time ago and I just love it!
Well, I gotta run and think about cooking something yummy for dinner (wouldn't want to eat anything yucky afterall!)
Hugs,
