Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading (http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/). Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I'm currently reading "Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast At Tiffany's and The Dawn of the Modern Woman" by Sam Wasson. Here is my snippet -
"Breakfast At Tiffany's was different. It was one of the earliest pictures to ask us to be sympathetic toward a slightly immoral young woman. Movies were beginning to say that if you were imperfect, you didn't have to be punished." (- Page 168)
This is an incredible book so far! Highly recommend it!
