What a great idea!
So, here is a little something about a book that I am extremely fond of, and the author who brought it into the world!
Have you ever run across someone, and after only a few minutes, think to yourself “Why, I’ve known this person all my life, where have they been?”
Kathy Patrick is such a person. Although we’ve never met in “person,” I met Kathy on Facebook through an interest in her book, “The Pulpwood Queens’ Tiara-Wearing, Book-Sharing Guide To Life.” And after exchanging a few messages back and forth, I now consider this Jefferson, Texas lady to be one of my dear friends!
An avid reader and enthusiastic supporter of books and reading, Kathy is the owner of “Beauty And The Book,” the only bookstore/beauty salon in the world, and it’s through those doors that some of the top authors today have come in to discuss books and have their hair done at the same time. Could there be no better place in the entire world than that?
Her book, “The Pulpwood Queens’ Tiara-Wearing, Book-Sharing Guide To Life,” is Kathy’s story of how she went from being a book publisher representative to bookstore owner, and is now considered a major leader in the cause of literacy. Loaded with personal stories of her life growing up in Eureka, Kansas to her married life in the quaint little Southern town of Jefferson, Texas, Kathy isn’t a bit shy about the tough time, but she also celebrates with joy the good times that have come here way!
If you love books, love reading, and love sharing with others about what you have read, you MUST read my friend Kathy Patrick’s book. It will do your heart a world of good!!
