Meet and Greet (My First Guest Blog Post)

Recently I was asked by Nicole, of 'Assorted Thoughts Of A Scatter-Brain' if I would do a guest blog post on her blog. I really wanted to do it for her, and then I heard that Tammy was also going to do a guest post! We decided right away that if we did our posts with a common theme, it would be twice the fun.

The topic of my post was all Norman and June! It turned into a meet and greet with the Fuzz Balls! Tammy's post was hijacked by her cat, Rosco, and you should check that out too while you're over there! He looks pretty smashing in his red hat!

Over the weekend we wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather, so we headed out for a walk with a friend. The sun was shining so brightly, and the snow has almost disappeared totally! It was a great day. It was also a great opportunity to get out with my camera, and take some outside photographs. I'm still learning things about my DSLR all the time, and I've been using it indoors-only for the past few months.

Anyways, the only real reason for this post was that I wanted to share a few 'Early Spring in Upstate NY' Photographs.






Of course, I also can't resist kitty photos! Here's our very Quirky June Cat, in a Quirky Box!

Plastic Camera Photos.

Okay, these aren't really from an old plastic camera. I took them with an application on my iPhone. Either way, I love love love the look and feel of these 'Old' Photos!

Just a little note..

Another hot summer day here, great for running some errands. We went to the post office to ship off some orders, and dropped some items off at the thrift store to donate. While we were there we went in (of course!), and I found some really sweet vintage things for Etsy. I hope to get some photos of the items tomorrow so I can show you, and update the shop!

On a last note for now, yesterday it was rainy outside, and the kittens had the best time sitting by the glass door trying to figure out what was going on! It's so sweet to see them learning new things every day. They are so curious!

I tried to resist, and couldn't! I apologize in advance for the Kitten photo overdose, But who can resist Kittens?!

I never thought I would have one persian kitten, let alone that we would be lucky enough to share our home with a brother-sister pair of these fancy cats. I'm having a wonderful time with them and they are having fun exploring new things every day!

June + Etsy!

I am going to try to make June the best Etsy sales month ever! I want to see if I really work at it, if I can make a difference in the amount of sales I make. Who wants to join me on this challenge?
I have a few things that I want to work extra hard on. The more you list, the more sales you make! So I am going to try to:

-Go out thrifting more often and looking for more vintage items for the shop.
-List more items, and More often in the shop.
-Promote fellow Etsy sellers both on the blog and on twitter! I think it's important to promote and support each other in the Etsy and Blogging community! (Leave a comment if you want to get in on this :)
-Start to utilize my Facebook page more! I need to get creative and do some promos or give-aways there! And I still really want to make a 'Happy Customer' type gallery of photos from You! (See my blog post on that subject :)
-Stay extra organized! New business cards and making sure I'm totally stocked up on all my shipping supplies (got new printer ink and lots of stamps today).
-Get involved in the Prezz*D! A collaboration Magazine project! Started by Fi Figueroa who is an awesome fashion blogger, a great girl, and anyone would be lucky to collaborate with her!
