My Thoughts:
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this mystery. Author Judith Ivie has created a fascinating character in Kate Lawrence, a fiesty forty-something gal who is bold, brash and funny and not afraid to take a few chances in life and certainly not afraid to knock a few heads if necessary. Her friendships with former co-worker Margo and Strutter are strong, the kind of female friends who support you and get in the trenches with you when necessary!
