My name is Amy Weiner. I'm 33 years old and a mother to one daughter. I started making and selling doll clothes when my daughter recieved an American Girl doll as a present. My Etsy page has been open since last February. I've been sewing since I was a little girl and my great grandmother showed me how to mend items. I've been sewing my own Halloween costumes since I was in high school and have also made regular clothing items and household items over the years.
I enjoy reading, playing video games with my husbad, and playing with my daughter in my free time. I have been a Minnesota native my whole life, but have lived all around the state. We currently live in Prior Lake, and really enjoy the combination of "city" and "country".

My daughter Alexa is begging for an American Girl doll for Christmas and one look at the price tag on one of those things is about to drive my credit card crazy. I don't even want to know what the clothes cost to dress the doll. I can assure you, they cost more than clothes I would spend on myself.
Amy at "Doll Clothes by Amy" is super talented and makes her own doll clothes. She has one lucky daughter!!
Instead of spending a fortune on your child's doll clothes, Amy offers them on her Etsy store for a small smidgen of a cost.Surprise your daughter this Christmas with a whole new wardrobe for her Barbie's and Dollies.
With the prices so low, you will literally be able to purchase a whole closet full of clothes!!
A glamorous outfit!
Kahki pants with a tan/brown shrug
Flannel jammie pants
Red and Black plaid skirt
Amy's talent doesn't stop at doll clothes.
She also makes flannel hats and scarves.
The hats are made with a double layer of fleece for that extra warmth we need during our Minnesota winters.
Each hat has an adjustable fold over the cuff, so it's easily fitted for each person.
If you have a certain color or pattern you are interested in - contact Amy and she will do her best to make each hat to your request.
These fleece hats are super afforable for that special someone you'd like to keep warm this winter. All hats are machine washable and dryable.
Amy at "Doll Clothes by Amy" sent my little Lillian this adorable blue and white dress that depicts Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz to review. This is a very popular dress in our house as Alexa was Dorothy for Halloween.
The dress is so well made and has withstood all the hard playing and loving from my kids. It's so fun for them to have a variety of clothing to dress their dolls up in (without me breaking the bank).
Amy's attention to detail really shows in her work. My daughters can easily dress their dolls themselves with this dress as it has a long strip of velcro down the back.
Amy also sent my husband a black fleece hat. He hasn't stood still long enough for me to take a picture of him to post, but I can assure you that he's been using and loving it during these last few snow storms.
He likes the larger cuff to be able to adjust to fit his head and pull down a little around the ears and cheeks to keep out the cold wind. It's a simple hat that is perfect for going out to snowblow the driveway or wear to work.
