Release Day for "A Mom For Callie" by Laura Bradford

One of the best perks of being a book reviewer is being able to recommend a book that might get overlooked among the thousands and thousands of literary offerings available. And when that book is written by a good friend, well, that’s an even sweeter privilege!

My good friend, Laura Bradford is celebrating her second romance novel, “A Mom For Callie.” Laura, who has several mysteries to her credit, has recently branched out into the romance genre, and she is quickly becoming one of the best in the biz!

I’m so proud to help her celebrate her book release day today!

A Mom for Callie
By Laura Bradford
Harlequin Americana Books

Synopsis:

Betsy Anderson isn't the sort of woman to leave home and travel 1,200 miles because of a feeling. But something about the photo of a certain bridge in Cedar Creek has stirred up buried emotions. And meeting gorgeous cop Kyle Brennan—a man with the broadest shoulders she's ever seen in or out of uniform—awakens feelings of a deliciously different kind….

All Kyle wants is to serve and protect his Illinois small town and be a good father to his young daughter. Now Betsy's making the guarded single dad realize he wants more…a lot more. If only the plucky widow weren't so gun-shy about trusting her heart to another law-enforcement officer. Is Betsy ready to take a risk—maybe the biggest one of all?

My Thoughts:

With her latest novel, “A Mom For Callie,” author Laura Bradford combines a charmingly sweet tale of two lost souls looking for love, with a healthy dose of saucy romance, a dash of thrilling mystery and a generous helping of lively characters to create a story that will stay with readers long after the last page is turned.

To craft a story that pulls the reader in by their heartstrings and keeps them enthralled to the very end is the sign of a truly gifted writer and Laura Bradford easily takes her place as one of the up and coming new romance authors in the genre today.
