It's the Fourth of July weekend, and I want to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday!
And!! - It's Friday and It's Book Blog Hop Day!
Welcome to my blog, come on in and browse around! Hope you like what you see - if you do, please follow me! The blog hop is a fun weekly event that allows book bloggers to check out what everyone else is up to!
Here is the info on the Book Blog Hop -
Jennifer at Crazy For Books (http://www.crazy-for-books.com/) is the host, and you can find her information and the McLinky to join in at her blog!
About the Hop: (From Jennifer)
This is a weekly event, hosted here, where book bloggers and readers can connect to find new blogs to read. It's a great way to network with other bloggers and make new friends! Every day I seem to find another book blog that I start following. In the spirit of the Friday Follow, I thought it would be cool to do a Book Blogger Hop to give us all bookies a chance to connect and find new blogs that we may be missing out on! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed!
Jennifer has added a twist to the book blog hop, and asks that we all answer one different question a week! This week's question is "who are you and why did you start blogging?"
Well, my name is Sharon Galligar Chance, and I live in the great state of Texas! I'm married to my best friend Don for nearly 28 years, and we have four sons -Coleman, Clayton, Calen and Cassidy.
I started blogging over a year and a half ago, but I have been reviewing books for going on 15 years! I am a book reviewer for my local newspaper, as well as the Las Vegas Review Journal, and Fresh Fiction.com. I added blogging to help spread the word on books that I find interesting, and to share my love of reading with folks who feel the same way!
I am also an avid gardener, thus the name Sharon's Garden of Book Reviews. I hope you find my humble little blog interesting, and will come back from time to time to see what reading goodies I have found!
HAPPY READING EVERYONE!!!
