Look what I found...

I don't like the big ones eating my garden but this one was so small and cute. He was chasing robins and cardinals in my backyard. They were way bigger than him and he was having a grand time of it. The birds seemed a bit perturbed. lol! Especially the robin who was trying to listen for it's dinner and kept getting interrupted by this tiny bunny bouncing around her.

I wish I would have had my video camera.

Fall

Nothing like walking to relax and calm the mind. I usually get lots of ideas when walking. I brought my camera along on this one. Here's some from the "road" I've got some others that will show up in my art sometime soon. ;)
My camera was not fast enough to get this hawk in focus...but I thought it was still a neat shot-for a point and shoot camera.

Kaleidoscope

I haven't posted a kaleidoscope in so long that I've almost forgotten how to spell it. lol. Why? Because they were all on my computer that was in the shop for a whole month.
Remember? Ok, I really am done harping on that.

Fear

This piece was from my senior year in high school. I liked my art teacher-don't remember his name though. For this, he took a picture of me while standing on a table, then printed it (old school, silver print-no digital) so I would have a photo reference. I remember feeling a little foolish making that face looking up at him. The assignment was "Your greatest fear" At the time this is what is was.

Hit the Trail

This is Cupcake, my childhood dog. At times when life was rough, she was my savior. A Beagle German Shepard mix, she weighed 40 pounds ...small but she had a big bark.

I got her when I was 10 after many years of begging for a dog...and just before my parents got divorced. She loved to go for walks, camping, running, canoeing and skunking. Anything outdoors...except swimming. Being in the water was a terror to her. She lived to the ripe old age of 16 and even attended my wedding reception. I took this picture just before we started off on a hike. She was a little impatient to get going. "Mom, you are taking too long!" I'll always remember her.
