I made this candy jar today by altering a frappuccino bottle. The Shining Light Challenge this week over at Our Daily Bread Designs is to have a snowflake somewhere on your project. My paper has snowflakes, my sentiment stamp also has snowflakes & I attached 3D snowflakes in various spots around the bottle & on the lid.
I love altering frappuccino bottles...it's an easy gift. If you're looking for something for a teacher, friend or college student...this is a great idea. College students can also keep laundry money in them when the candy is gone.
Supplies:
Papers - BG
Stamps - SU (sentiment) & Memory Box (polar bear)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Pens - Marvy (red), Gelly Roll Stardust (Clear)
Embellishments - Stickles, snowflakes (from stash), Offray ribbon
Tools: Nestabilities (petite ovals & petite scalloped ovals), Paper Studio punches (scalloped circle & circle), Martha Stewart border punch (icicle), Stamp-a-ma-jig

Treasure Valentine
Before Valentine's Day gets too far into past history, I wanted to show you the valentine I made for our daughter. Again, I used the easel design from SCS and it qualified for a challenge at Our Daily Bread Stamps to have red or pink and bling. I was excited today to find out that this card was chosen for the LOTW (Layout {or in this case project} of the Week) over at The Scrapbook Supply Store Community (formerly AC Bailey Designs).

Supplies:
Papers: BG, Bazzill
Ink: Colorbox fluid chalk
Stamp: Heidi Swapp
Flowers: Paperabilities & Heidi Grace
Bling: BG
Misc. Ribbon & beading.
Cricut - George cart.

Owl Valentine
This is the valentine I made for my husband using the easel design from this tutorial at SCS. It qualified for challenges at Our Daily Bread (ODB) and Stampin' Sisters in Christ (SSCC). For the ODB challenge it had to have a heart somewhere on the card. For the SSCC challenge it had to have two things used to make one card...my heart has two layers, each of my two patterned papers is double-sided, my words are double matted, I have two types of sparkle (stickles on SWAK and a glitter pen for the owl's "mascara"), and I used two different stamps from two different companies.

Supplies:
CS - SU & DCWV
PP - MME - 29th Street Market
Stamps - Sweet n Sassy (owl) & Stuio G (SWAK)
Computer Font - CK Andecdote
Kimberly watercolor pencils
Brads - MM
Stickles
Pens - Uniball Signo (white), Creative Memories (black) & SU (close to cocoa), GellyRoll (clear star - "mascara" on the owl)
Fiskar's Threading Water Punch
Cricut - George Cartridge (heart)
