A night fit for a PRINCESS!

At the beginning of the week, I was talking to my Mom on the phone and she was telling me how bummed she was about not being able to take Alexa, Lilli and I to the Disney on Ice show because the tickets were just so outgragously expensive. I thanked her for even thinking about taking us and then quickly forgot about the conversation. Later that day the hubs called me and asked if I'd like to bring the girls to Disney on Ice because his boss had 4 tickets. How ironic is that? The hubs works late Thursday nights, which is when the show tickets were for, so who did I invite? My Mom, of course!

The evening started off a little rocky with Lillian being her typical stubborn self. She had been looking forward to going to the show all week, but when the time finally came, she got into a little crabby mood and didn't want to do anything I asked. Her and Alexa had wanted to wear their pretty new dresses from Kydan Rae Kustoms to the show, but when it was time to get dresses, Lillian wanted nothing to do with it. Ugh!! Stinker! Somehow, someway - she changed her mind and snapped out of her funk and put her dress on and got excited about the show again. (I think I promised her oreo cookies or something..haha..I was desperate).
The show was at the Target Center in Minneapolis, and since I hate driving in the cities, it was so nice that Adam was able to bring us there. We drove to his work and he drove us right up to the door of the Target Center. We were so thankful to not have to worry about parking and whatnot...and he was waiting for us when the show was over with a nice and warm car.

We were there early enough to walk around the Target Center and see the display of Princess Dresses. The girls were in awe of everything they saw and all the people there. Every little girl was dressed up in princess attire and looking stunning as ever.

You can purchase these dresses HERE.

The also had a live princess display of Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
I say display, because she was on a platform behind a security rope.

I took several pictures of the show, but not a lot turned out because of the lighting.

This of course is the "Be Our Guest" performance from Beauty and the Beast.

During the finale, all the princesses and their princes came out and skated together.
My brother Ben's, girlfriend Kelly, is a professional figure skater. She has spent the last 6 months on a cruise ship doing the ice show on there. She wants to go to college, but we are determined to have her do a year of Disney on Ice first. We thought that she would make a fantastic Tinkerbell, or Cinderella. Either way, Alexa and Lillian think it's pretty cool to have their uncle date a real Disney princess. :) We'll see....

Tinkerbell getting raised in Cinderella's chariot during the finale. Fireworks were shot out of the top at the very end.

It was definitley a night filled with long lasting memories and smiles from my little princesses.
We are grateful for the oppertunity to take them and it was so much fun.
