Aprons & Art "Mommy & Me" Apron Review

I was so excited to recieve such a fun package in the mail last week, from my blog friends Amy, Ellie and Hannah. They are better knows as "The Sisters" from the blog, aprons and art.

It's quite funny how they got the name, "The Sisters" and I can totally relate. Besides the fact that they are in fact real sisters, their one and only brother could never get their names right when trying to get their attention. He'd go through them all before calling out the right name. So, to save his breath, he started calling them all "The Sisters". We do the same thing in our family. haha

Upon opening the package I found 2 perfectly wrapped piece's of fabric, that unfolded into 2 beautiful aprons. One Mommy size apron and one child size, for my daughter, Alexa.

They were both tied with an orange piece of lace with a tag attached from "The Sisters"

Those who know me and know me well, know that I do NOT do the cooking in my family. I'm not one bit ashamed to admit my that my husband is the better cook. But, after putting on this fashionably chic apron, the kitchen was screaming my name. Alexa tied hers around her waist, did a little twirl and was ready to be Mommy's big girl helper. Alexa and I say, as long as we can look fashionably cute while doing it, we'll try anything.

I absolutley love the colors, they are so bright and fun.
The 2 pockets on the Mommy apron and the one on the Mini Me apron is such a cute added touch!!
Each apron has 'Made By Amy' stiched into the hem, making these items so personal and unique.
Handmade with love!
These aprons are from their 'Mommy and Me' line, that are sold on their Etsy site:
Please visit their shop on Etsy to check out more of their work and tell them Dawn sent you.
They even have 'art' available..(ya know..aprons AND art)...All handmade by "The Sisters"
I LOVE the ruffle aprons!
You can also order on their Blog:

These chic boutique-style Mommy and Me aprons Alexa and I are wearing are $27.00 for the set and The Sisters can custom make them to suit your style, taste or interests.
Amy did such an amazing job on both aprons, each stich so perfect and precise. I love her sense of creativity incorporating the different style and patterned fabrics. The fabric is so light making it easy and fun to wear.

They would make such great gifts for a special friend you know who has a daughter, a hostess gift, Christmas or Birthday present.
I loved wearing mine over the weekend during my girls' Birthday party.
I had so many great compliments.
Encourage help in the kitchen from your kids with matching aprons!!
I'm fortunate enough to have my Grandmother's and my husband's Grandmother's (who have both passed) aprons and now I have my own that I'll be able to share and pass down to my daughters. THANK YOU Sisters!!

Be sure to stop by and leave them sweet comments!
