Captain's Challenge

Finally, I did it! I completed my first challenge. I found this challege on Captain Crafter's site. This challenge was to use the layout provided and 3 different colors of cardstock. The catch was, the base card could not be one of the 3 colors and it had to be a neutral. For the first card, I bent the rules a bit and used one color of cardstock but a couple of print papers for the "extra" colors. The green paper is "Lime Twist" from the My Mind's Eye Everyday Tango collection. The floral print is from K & Co. I don't have a scrap big enough to tell you which collection it is from. Sorry about that. The dragonfly stamp is from Denami and the inks used were Laurel Leaf, Baby Blue and Lagoon Blue VersaColor. For the second card, I played by the rules. ARGH! I used cream cardstock for the base card and then a scrap of brown with a piece of Brown Scarlett Letter from Basic Grey, rust Bazzill and a scrap of Lt. Chocolate Malt from World Win for the flower panel. I versamarked the Autumn Leaves swirl stamp onto the rust panel. The flower (Paper Ispirations) was colored with Bark, Brown and Burgundy VersaColor Inks. I used a bit of Diamond Stickles in the center of the flower. The brads are from Lasting Impressions. This was fun and I look forward to the next challenge.
