Winter Knitting

When the weather gets cool I get the itch to start knitting. I can't knit in the summer, it's just to hot to deal with yarn all over the place! (Is it just me?) However, the cool fall air makes me want to get my needles out and go out shopping for wool!

Even though I usually only knit for about half the year, I still end up making far more than I can give away to my friends and Family, so I started introducing my knits to my Handmade Etsy Shop, LucysPostcardQuilts.

I didn't think I'd ever actually start selling MY Neck Warmers and Arm Warmers, but it happened! Now I can't stop making them.

Meet Lucy

I know it's silly, BUT...

I wanted to introduce everyone to a very important member of our Family! Our Cat, Lucy. She's so fuzzy and odd, and she's pretty chubby, but as sweet as can be. She's really my first cat (my boyfriend has had cats all his life) and I just absolutely adore her. She makes me laugh and smile every day.



I spent the afternoon with her, taking pictures, editing photos,listening to music, and listing new things in the shop. Well, she didn't do any of those things, but she kept me company. (New in the shop today, Shoes, Matryoshka Dolls, and Some costume jewelry coming soon! All VINTAGE!)

I have had a handmade shop on Etsy for years, and I named it after Lucy!
