Leaving in the AM!

We delayed the trip by a half a day, and we're leaving in the morning instead of this afternoon. It worked out so well because yesterday I got about half my errands done, and then we got to spend some leisurely time at the farmers market...

How adorable is this girl? Barefoot and selling baked goods!

Then we stopped at a cafe' to get some iced tea before we melted out in the humidity. After that, instead of getting back to errands, we stopped at local pawn shop.

I found some really cool vintage jewelry for Etsy, I'm really excited to get that up in The Shop. I also thrifted for myself, a great vintage Dooney and Bourke bag, and a 90's Tiffany Bangle Bracelet! Didn't need to spend the money right before vacation, but I couldn't resist!!

After that, we picked up some steak and potato salad and went home, grilled some dinner. We let the kittens have a little bit of time outside (For the first time!!) and relaxed on the back porch and watched the sun set.

9/3/10

Off to the Poconos, first thing in the morning! (Of course, I have a couple errands to run first, hah!)
Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Farmers Market.

Our local Farmers Market is held on Thursdays. Since today is Thursday, Sally and I headed down town to see what we could find. I took a couple quick photos, and then my camera battery died! (Boo!)

We walked around the farmers market, and didn't buy too much. It was a nice day to be out anyway.

Then we stopped at the local Cafe for soup and coffee. And I found some cool vintage jewelry and a couple more stacking dolls at our favorite pawn shop.

Check out the shop for updates later tonight!
First it's time for pizza and friends!

Sneak-Peak!

We went to the farmers market today, I'm so glad it's that season again. Not everything is ready quite yet, but we still got some fresh arugula and asparagus, a big catnip plant, and many yummy baked goods!

Then we stopped in at the local pawn shop. We found so many great vintage items! Too much to bring home all at one time, so I tried to pick out the best of the best. (I'm always open to suggestions of what You would like to see in the shop!)

Anyways, here's a Sneak-Peak of just some of the vintage jewelry coming to the shop soon! What do you think?
