I love handmade and I love supporting Mama's that have the talent to create such amazing things for their little ones and share their talents with us....me (the untalented). Heather at Heather's Hobbies on Etsy has been crotcheting items for her 3 children for many years, since they were born. Her grandmother taught her the technique and she goes crazy if she doesn't have crotchet hooks and yarn at arms reach. She's always thinking of new projects and uses crotcheting as a way of winding down at night after taking care of her 3 boys.
I've always loved crotcheted hats - they are super fun and cute to wear and it's something that will just never go out of style. But, crotcheted shoes?? Now, that is just plain ADORABLE!!

She sent Alexa and Lillian these adorable sets of mary jane shoes and matching newsboy hats. They are so sweet and I love the color, lilac. The girls have been wearing the cute little hats to school every day and while outside playing at home. They are perfect for this somewhat spring-like weather we've been having. Cool enough to not be too sweaty, but warm enough to keep the cool breeze from their head and ears. They are super stylish and compliment any outfit.
The little slipper/shoes are absolutley the cutest. They are perfect to wear around the house after they've taken a bath to keep their little feet warm. Our basement is especially chilly during the winter time, so it's nice they have something to keep their toes warm on the cool ground. The girls love them because they are a soft slipper in the style of a fashionable mary jane shoe. :)
