Nothing too much to report from the weekend. Adam was away in Duluth celebrating his sisters 21st Birthday. It would have been fun to go along, but I didn't feel like a 21st Birthday celebration was appropriate for 2 little girls (Alexa and Lillian) and you know how I am about leaving them overnight. So, we stayed home and enjoyed our 'girl time'. The neighbor kids came over Saturday to play. It was nice to have them there to distract Alexa from missing her Papa. We are "Team Lares" (or so we call ourselves) and pretty much do everything together with very little time apart as possible, so it's a little emotional on us all when we have to split for a few days. He left all 3 of us a t-shirt of his to sleep with - Alexa carried hers around most of the weekend.
With him being gone and the kids playing with friends, it gave me some time to catch up on some reviews and giveaways. I hope you took the time to enter, they are all fantastic and I'm grateful for the opportunity to feature these amazing items with all of you. I have a ton more fun things coming up, so please do check back. {See the right top sidebar for the links to the giveaways}
We were excited to welcome Papa back Sunday after church and a trip to McDonald's for lunch. He came back handsome as ever and it was great to see him again. I'm sure you're all sick over this lovey dovey mooshy stuff, but it's true. 2 days or 200 days, I still miss him the same. :) He had a bit of a rough weekend (as you can imagine any 21st Birthday party to be) and slept it off when he got home.
OOH...And Alexa lost her 6th tooth this weekend. I feel kind of bad for not making a bigger deal about it (like calling Grandparents and stuff) but, it's #6 - it's getting kinda habit that she loses one every month. She is losing them faster than she's growing them in, so she looks pretty gappy!! It's that totally awkward stage where she has a couple adult teeth and a whole bunch of gaps. hehe

Today I'm linking up with Emma at Toddler Awesome for Mama Monday.
Here are the 3 questions for this week:
1. Do you have tattoos?
2. What are 5 things about you we don't yet know.
3. What is your hubby's best quality when it comes to the kiddies?
1.) I do not have tattoos. I went through a little phase in my teens where I thought getting one would be cool, but talked myself out of it and I'm glad I did.
2.) I watch The Bachelor.
An item I can't live without is my CamelBak water bottle.
I used to be a radio DJ! :)
I am the most indecisive person that I know.
I was misdiagnosed with cancer when I was in 9th grade. It's made me believe in .01% chances.
3.) Adam has been the most incredible Papa to our kids. I'm so lucky in that he was one of those Father's who is so involved with everything. He wanted to help with the feedings, the diaper changes, getting them dressed, bathing and so on. I always thought that Adam would be the type to really want a little boy. An athlete, typical guys guy!! But, he is 100% happy with his 2 little princesses and loves them more than ever. With his job he is fortunate enough to have the mornings off to spend time with them. They rough house, play games, watch movies, play school, bike ride, go to the park..ect. It's never ending fun when Papa is around. :) So, I guess to answer the question - his best quality is giving them unconditional love, always being there for them and involved in their little lives.
