The Globe is made by Replogle! Replogle Globes is an American company that started making globes in a small Chicago apartment in the 1930's and is now the largest Globe manufacturer in the world. One of my favorite parts is that almost all of the Replogle Globes are totally hand crafted.
I haven't been able to date it exactly yet, and I'm still trying to decide where I can display this piece in our home. I am really loving it, and can already picture it in several different rooms. Bookshelf, Dresser, Desk? Where would you put something like this in your home?
