I can't believe it's FRIDAY!! This week literally flew right by!! But, it's totally a good thing because I have such a fun weekend planned.
My little brother, his girlfriend Courtney and her friend Bre came last night. I wanted to stay up late and hang out with them, but I had to work today, so I had to ditch a little early. Boo! But, I have the whole rest of the weekend to be with them. Awesome!
Tomorrow I'm having a Lia Sophia jewelry party, that I've been planning for awhile now. I'm so excited for the fun ladies day. My hubs has been helping me clean the house and get things ready, I'm so grateful. He and my brother are even taking the girls out tomorrow, so it can be 'just the ladies', for once. I really can't wait. What better way to spend a Saturday than with great friends and family and buying fabulous jewelry. I wish you all could come, too. We're having chili! Yum!
The rest of the weekend will be spent hanging out with family and friends. My cousin Christopher may swing by with his girlfriend. I'm anxious to meet her for the first time. Also, I'm sure my hubs will be breaking out the grill at some point and that's always a highlight as he is the BEST grill master, ever!!
On one teeny tiny wee little itty bitty low note, I'm feeling like I'm getting a sinus cold. Ick, I know. But, I'm trying not to think about it or dwell on the possibility that I could totally be feeling like crap tomorrow during my party. I will do whatever it takes to feel great and have a good time. Oh, and on another sad note, my SIL isn't able to make it to my party. I'm am so bummed, but love her so much that I totally understand that she has to work. A little sparkle will be missing from the atmosphere of the party without her there. She is such a glam queen!!!
On a good note, Lillian had a field trip yesterday at school and it wore her out completely that she was sleeping before 9pm last night. Yay! Lately the little stinker hasn't wanted to go to sleep before 11. Ugh! I know it's just a phase as she is getting older and probably doesn't need a nap anymore, but all the children have naps at her school, so she gets one, too.
