Saturday is my daughter Jenny’s birthday!! Since she lives far away, I made her a cake from artificial roses and carnations so she could save it and always have a pretty cake on her birthday! I put it in a box with party favors to make a “Party in a Box!”
The recipe calls for:
Styrofoam block
Artificial flowers
Pink ribbons
Lots of love
Perfect for birthday wishes at a distance.
And since I am an artist and not a cook, it was
the best recipe I could create!

But, how do you enter the drawing? I will have a blog post about it for the 5 days before Christmas and just add your name to that blog post to be in the drawing. I will announce the winner on Christmas! What a fun way to get your house ready for the new year, don’t you think? I forgot to tell you...it's very large. The ribbon is 5'7" long!
I will send it to the winner in an envelope and all I ask is that if you are the winner that you get clothespins to attach each piece where you want it. Easy, peasy! Ribbon and tulle fabric will be sent with it for embellishments just as pictured here.
