I saw an altered Starbuck's frappuccino bottle over a year ago. I've wanted to give it a try ever since. For the Easter goodies I sent to Kendra & her friends, I finally did. These ended up being such an easy gift to make and the possibilities for filling the bottles are endless. Obviously, you don't have to fill them with candy. Peanuts, bath salts, buttons, drink mixes, or anything else small enough to fit thru the neck opening would work. I chose jelly beans -- Starburst jelly beans for all her friends and since she's not a big jelly bean fan, Sweet-Tart jelly beans for Kendra. All of these are made with the small size bottles. The side benefit of giving this gift is that I got to drink all this yummy frappuccino. *grin*
I enjoyed trying to tailor each bottle to the recipients' likes/interests. Emily loves Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty). Julie likes "funky" colors & retro. Linsey likes purple. Kendra likes frogs. Daniel was harder because of being a guy...he used to play soccer in high school so I used a soccer theme for his.
