Bonnie's work utilizes found objects such as fossils, sea glass, architectural salvage, vintage hardware, and lonely earrings. She repurposes these objects into wearable art using wire wrapping, rivets and other ancient cold connections in an attempt to maintain the inherent beauty she sees in the item.
Bonnie can frequently be found treasure hunting for beautiful patinas and sparkly bits in salvage yards, flea markets and garage sales. It is her pleasure to use these beautiful pieces of the past to make jewelry with history.
The FamiLee Jewels newest line of jewelry uses souvenir pressed pennies and reclaimed electrical wire to create wearable memories."
