Better Attitudes!!

We have had such a great week. The girls have completely changed their attitudes and so have I. The marble jar technique is really working. They have gotten marbles every day after school and every night before bed, except for last night, which was partly my fault. I was trying to be super Mom, managing the kids, dishes and laundry all at once. It just gets too crazy and we all get a little stressed and overwhelmed. It's just easier to do those sorts of things after they go to bed. Just as much as they need to work on their attitudes, I need to work on slowing down and giving them more of my attention. I'd say the first few days have been a success.

Alexa started her new session of dance class with Ms. Bonnie yesterday. She is very excited that one of her friends (Astrid) has joined the class. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I hope they can both focus. Ha Ha Ms. Bonnie is great, so I'm sure they'll be fine. Their spring session performance will be on June 19th at the Eden Prairie High School auditorium. I'm looking forward to it already. I got a tip from Alexa's teacher yesterday about a dance class in Apple Valley. It's called U Can Danz Dance Studio. I looked for it online last night and it looks fantastic. It's actually cheaper than what she is doing now and she will be performing during Vikings and Timberwolves games as well as at the Mall of America. There are holiday programs and father/daughter dances and everything. I'm very excited, as I've been searching for the perfect place to take her once she is in kindergarten and does't attend All Stars Montessori any more to take part in Ms. Bonnie's class.

Lillian is still coughing, but seems to be 'feeling' fine. We continue giving her NEB treatments and Motrin before bed. She slept very well last night. We have a fairly low key weekend planned, so hopefully she can get some good rest and shake this cough quickly.

Our friends Timmy and Brie and their little boy Ty, are coming to visit this Sunday and stay the night. We're excited to have them, as it's been so long since we've gotten together.
