During our play date with Mackenzie last night,
I got a phone call from our neighbor Inna,
saying she brought her scissors home from work and it was time
for Lillian's first haircut.
So, after we ate pizza, played with Mackenzie and visited with Nicole,
we went over to Inna's for the big cut.
I didn't know how Lillian would react to the scissors,
so we had Alexa go first.
Inna draped a towel around her shoulders
and worked her magic.
She gave her a few long bangs and voila
she looked like a mini version of Tori.
They spent the next half hour in
front of the
mirror drying and styling
Alexa's new 'do'.
Gorgeous!!
Next, it was Lilli's turn.
With no hesitation, she sat right up on the chair
and kept her head still for Inna.
Inna is so great with kids.
She talked to her and showed her her spray bottle
and scissors and really took her time with Lillian.
I was right there with the camera,
snapping pictures of her first hair cut.
My only instructions for Inna were to not cut off all her curls
and to not make her look like a boy.
Inna did such a fantastic job!
Lillian not only looks like the cutest little girl ever,
she has even more curls than before.
Lillian was so proud of herself and
you could just tell that
she felt better having all that mess
of hair off the top of her head.
Both girls look absolutely adorable!
