Yesterday, i spent my afternoon to watch my rent movies that I pended to watch it these days. One of the movies is 'Seven Pounds'. I will never tell the story in this post, so if u curious by it, u have to watch and experience what i experience by yourself.
That's i want to tell in this post. The experience. Last year, my friend told me that she watched this movie and tears streamed down her face in the end of the story. I know that Will Smith has a great acting. I felt it in the 'Pursuit Of Happyness'. And when i watched the trailer, i predicted that this movie must be a good drama.
Finally, the time when i watched 'Seven Pounds' had to come. I didn't really understand what exactly the story want to deliver at the beginning of story but i kept watching until the end. My tears didn't stream down my face, but my heart is crying like a baby (lol). I need a moment to think quietly when the credit tittle had appeared. I turned off the laptop and going to took a bath but my mind kept thinking...thinking of what Ben Thomas (Will Smith) doing in that movie. This movie is so inspiring and not only that, it makes me want to do something...something good for others.
Emily, "Why do I get the feeling you're doing me a really big favor?"
Ben, "Because I get the feeling that you really deserve it."
Ben, "Because I get the feeling that you really deserve it."
This movie is about giving...and it hurts...But, it will be never a gift if we don't pay the cost. Perhaps, in this movie, Ben Tomas did that for redemption but it stills delivered the message deeply. I made a self reflection while i watched it. Lately, i learn to live not only for myself, but for others. I am a learner and i can fail in anytime but this movie gives me a great encouragement. Thank you for making this beautiful film, Gabriele Muccino (the director). I recommend u to watch and experience this movie, my friends :)
