So, the plan of tricking Adam yesterday for April Fools worked. Do I feel bad for him...No! Do I feel bad for Vic...Sorta!
After a ton of begging yesterday, Vic said he could just not bring himself to do that to Adam, it was too mean and he didn't think he could pull it off. "Ugh, Fine!" was my last comment to him. Party Pooper!
So, to my surprise when I called Adam after picking up the girls he was a little upset with me. "VIC GOT ME SO BAD", he said. I busted out laughing and immediately text Vic saying, "You ROCK". Props to him for mustering up the courage to go thru with the joke.
Apparently, Adam called Vic just to check in and see if there was any progress on the house and Vic took the bait and played along with my attempt to "get Adam back". To my luck and surprise, Adam actually fell for it. He said his heart just sunk and he was silent for a really long time. The conversation went a little something like this. (or at least this is what I'm hoping it sounded like)
Vic: Hello, this is Vic.
Adam: Heeey Vic, It's Adam!! How are things going?
Vic: Oh Good, Good.
Adam: Ok, just calling to check to see if you've heard anything about the house yet.
Vic: Well, Uhhh, Well, I've actually been meaning to call you. I, uuh, don't know really how to say this, but, the bank called and declined your offer.
Adam: WHAT??!!??!!
Vic: I know man, I'm so sorry..
Adam: Are you serious?
Vic: Yeah, this is no April Fools joke, I could never do that to you, I'm serious.
Adam: (silence)
Vic: I'm so sorry, I just didn't know how to tell you..
Adam: (silence)
Vic: Ok man, your wife made me do this...APRIL FOOLS. I didn't want to do it, but she made me.
Adam: OOOHH MANNN!! (And then I'm sure he used a few choice words that I don't like to use on this blog)
PAY BACK IS A (another word I don't like to use on this blog)!!!!!!!!!! HA HA HA HAAAA!!
Alexa continued to play her "tricks" last night, too. She would tell Lillian and I that we had a spider crawling on our back and when we would panic, she would laugh and say "April Fools!!"
Alexa is at Kaitlyn's birthday party, as I type. They are enjoying pizza and games at Chuck E. Cheese. I know she is doing just fine, but can't help but think my little baby is growing up. Already at a friend's birthday party all by herself, such a big girl!! I'll pick her up at 2 to take her to dance class.
I'm eating "baked" cheetos for lunch. They taste a little lighter. Are they any better for me?? I dunno? Do I care? No, not really! Would I eat them again? Yes! Would I recommend them to you? Sure!
