Problem was I only had 2 sets of each and I wanted to make 3 cards similar, as I wanted to use the images for my sisters cards. Well Dawn came to my rescue, I swapped some of my sheets with her so I got another 2 pairs of curtains and another tree, she got a snowman, a fireplace and a shop, we shared out the kids, fair deal I thought.. as one of the cards was going to be for her anyway.
So here is the card I made for my Mum, the decoupage is A5 size but as I used 2 sheets it was longer and wouldn't fit onto a folded A4 card....I had to make a larger card.
I mounted the decoupage onto some red miri paper, then onto some silver holographic card, this was then mounted onto a holly embossed red card. I went down to craft creations and bought some A3 stardream opal (whitish)card and cut it to size. I used stardust stickles on the snow, the snowman and the tree, red and silver stickles on the tree decorations. I cut the Merry Christmas on Robo, using a silver sparkly wrapping paper and mounted it on to a mat cut from red miri paper, then added a couple of peel offs along the sides.
Once again the colours in my photo aren't quite right white is not white, red too red, I think I need a new camera, Santa???
Mum loves it, she even took a plate off a stand and put the card on it.
What do you think?
